People are crazy for the Progressive “Dog Park” commercial song

Everyone is obsessed with the new Progressive commercial, and the reason must be the song: “it’s the dog park”…

The new commercial that has recently won everyone over comes from the latest idea by Progressive Insurance. It’s a fun way to promote their coverage for injuries and illnesses that can affect our pets — by letting us watch, all together, the amusing “human zoo” that usually takes shape in an urban dog park.

You’ve got the girl in yoga pants, the office worker sneaking out on his lunch break, the mom struggling with her phone and a baby in the stroller — and of course, Mara, one of Progressive’s iconic ad characters, staring into the camera with a look of pure disgust. The chaos around her feels both wild and oddly familiar.

But the real obsession for everyone watching this commercial is the song. “It’s the dog park, with all the dogs there.” It’s got a fast, punk-inspired rhythm and a simple, catchy lyric — almost like a children’s song, but performed in a way that appeals to everyone.

Hold your excitement — you won’t find the Dog Park song from the Progressive commercial anywhere in a full version. The track was created specifically for this ad (perhaps by artificial intelligence?), and even though plenty of viewers have been loudly asking for a complete version in the YouTube comments, Progressive hasn’t shown any sign of responding so far.

So you’ll have to settle for hearing it on TV or replaying it on Progressive’s YouTube channel. In the meantime, you can start memorizing the lyrics:

It’s the dog park
With all the dogs there
And the people you see
That you don’t really know
’cause it’s the dog park
It’s the dog park

For those who especially love Progressive’s commercials, there’s this full playlist on YouTube — made by them — featuring all their latest ads. So if you’ve got some free time tonight…
