The Otaku Box is an anime box subscription service in which fans receive various products related to Japanese animation and its characters every month. Mini Figure: Haikyuu!!
Subscribers received one PVC figurine of a character from the anime “Haikyuu!!,” which is around three inches tall. Mini figures are sent randomly to subscribers and have a small base for display. They are simple but cute and well-made.
Anime Shoelaces
A bold yellow pair of shoelaces with patterns inspired by “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” was also in the boxes! The Otaku Box made them exclusively for January’s boxes.
RPG Dice Set
The Otaku Box created a set of see-through dice and a fabric bag to send to subscribers exclusively in January’s boxes. What is really charming about this set is that some dice had the highest number replaced with an image of a female anime character (waifu)!
Metal Waifu Card
The first of a new series, metallic cards designed by The Otaku Box featuring the most popular female characters among subscribers, were included. This card features the character Zero Two from “Darling in the FRANXX,” and wow, it looks fancy! These Metal Cards will look cool as decoration once the collection gets bigger.
Wall Scroll: Yor Forger
As mentioned earlier, Otaku Box subscribers are encouraged to vote on their favorite artwork, anime, and characters every month. This fabric wall scroll came with an art that subscribers determined.
Something interesting about this product is that it comes in two versions. Adult subscribers can choose between receiving the regular wall scroll or a more adult-oriented alternative with nudity (ecchi version).
Anime T-Shirt: 02
This comfortable T-shirt features vinyl printing. The graphic was created by The Otaku Box and chosen through votes. The print features Zero-Two from the anime Darling In The FRANXX.
Note that the t-shirt is an add-on subscribers can receive in their boxes for an additional price.
1:9 Scale Anime Figure
Subscribers can also opt to receive a bigger anime figure, which is another creation of The Otaku Box, instead of the mini figure I mentioned earlier. The figures always feature anime girls in provocative poses or outfits, and characters are chosen by subscribers’ votes.
The character in the January 2024 anime box is Esdeath from Akame Ga Kill.
Waifu Card #49: Aqua
Another item with a nudity alternative version is the colorful, collectible card featuring a female character. There’s always one new card with a different waifu, and her bio is sent in every month’s anime box.
Arifureta (Yue) Button (for VIP subscribers)
It’s a simple button of decent size featuring the character Yue from the anime Arifureta. This item is a bonus sent to subscribers who’ve been around for a certain period.
Extra: Controller Skins
These stickers are meant to decorate your video game controllers (Playstation 5, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch Pro). The design is well-made, and each one is based on a different waifu. They were originally part of the December 2023 anime boxes.
Extra: “Sorry!” Card
This card is the first in its series and features The Otaku Box’s founder and mascot, Liz! It’s one extra card to apologize for issues with the controller skins in December’s boxes that had to be re-sent.
