Rae Sremmurd is an American hip-hop duo consisting of two brothers, Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee. The name “Rae Sremmurd” is actually derived from the duo’s label “Ear Drummers” spelled backward. No Flex Zone was their debut single, released in 2014: it immediately hit the US Top 100 chart and became popular in other parts of the world, getting remixed multiple times.

The song lyrics brag about the rappers’ fame and influence in the hip-hop world: with this song, they entered the scene, claiming already their status as young trendsetters, so they suggest the old protagonists stop “flexing.” There may be others who are more famous, but they are here to stay, got it?
