Ben Stiller stars in the AT&T commercial (with a cool song!)

Posted by

The new commercial released by AT&T in April 2024 features Ben Stiller in a “mildly” dramatic role: enjoy once again the classic song in the background.

When you see Ben Stiller on TV, your first expectation is some weird, funny scene, something out of the ordinary. What he did in the commercial released by AT&T in April 2024 is undoubtedly peculiar: no jokes, no punchlines, nothing conceived to make you laugh. And still, you can’t help smiling.

Enjoy the 2024 AT&T commercial with Ben Stiller below, and don’t miss the song in the background!

Epic Bad Golf Day - :60 | AT&T

In the AD, the American actor interprets a golf player with… some little problem with his performance. His swing looks pretty good, but as you can see in the commercial, the ball does not intend to come closer to the hole. Just the opposite: Ben Stiller finds himself in a remote location after the other, trying to return to the course. Things are so extreme that we can see him growing a long beard in the second part of the ad, riding a buffalo, and turning his life into a wild adventure. Nevertheless, his connection always follows him, thanks to AT&T.

The song you hear in the AT&T commercial is an authentic classic: Where Is My Mind by Pixies. You can listen to it again in full streaming below.

Pixies - Where Is My Mind? (Official Lyric Video)

Where Is My Mind is one of the most famous songs ever made by the Pixies. It has been covered multiple times and appeared in many movies, TV shows, and commercials over the last few years. You probably remember it in the ending scene of Fight Club, when the city collapses behind our eyes (yes, this is the perfect moment to watch it again). It’s regularly present in the charts of the best rock songs ever made, and this surely won’t be the last time we hear it on TV. Not bad, for a song released more than 35 years ago.

AT&T is rocking the 2024 advertising season with a series of ads that went viral on the Internet and social networks. The last time we talked about it was because of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, and even on that occasion, a classic song was the protagonist. Music is one of the reasons why commercials never fail to catch our attention, after all.
