Ester Expósito is Lilí in the Netflix series Bandidos

Bandidos, the Mexican series on Netflix has an interesting cast: the female protagonist is Lilí, played by Spanish actress Ester Expósito.

We always appreciate a good Mexican production, and Netflix knows it. The streaming platform has often entertained us with movies and TV shows from Central American minds, and Bandidos, the limited series released in March 2024, represents the first big hit of the year. An exciting plot swinging between crimes and adventures, a group of characters that guarantee surprises, and a female protagonist who can dominate the stage.

The actress who steals the spotlight is obviously the one playing Lilí, and viewers immediately wanted to know more about her. In Bandidos, Lilí is played by the Spanish actress Ester Expósito, a 24-year-old performer who’s already pretty famous among those who follow Spanish productions: she became famous after playing Carla in the first three seasons of Élite, the drama released on Netflix starting from 2018. Born in Madrid, Ester Expósito was just 18 when she played in Élite. After that success, Netflix produced two thriller movies with her in the cast, Your Son (Tu Hijo) and When Angels Sleep (Cuando Los Ángeles Duermen). Her popularity went beyond movies and TV shows.
