Day Shift: what’s the song in the ending credits?

Day Shift is a vampire movie released by Netflix in 2022, starring Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco. It’s an action movie that pleased many viewers, horror fans, and music lovers. Right, because the film also has a fantastic soundtrack that boosts the excitement during the whole vision. Two tracks, in particular, caught people’s attention: the ones we hear in the ending credits. Let’s discover each song.

You can find the official movie trailer here on Youtube.

What’s the song in the ending credits of the movie Day Shift?

The first song we hear on the ending credits of the movie Day Shift is Outside the Box, by Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg (you can find it here on Youtube). The song that comes afterward, during the rest of the movie ending credits, is BUD by Jamie Foxx, Sam Pounds & J Young MDK, in the “Mowing Down Vamps Remix” by Snoop Dogg. You can find the latter below.

Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx, & Dave Franco - BUD (Mowing Down Vamps REMIX) | Official Music Video

BUD is the name of the character played by Jamie Foxx in the movie, and the actor wrote the song on purpose for the film. The official music video above was produced by Netflix and also features Dave Franco.

The song is a modern electronic dance music tune with this killer line in the chorus:

Mowing down vamps with my best friend Bud

It’s basically the perfect power song for a modern vampire action movie. And Snoop Dogg did his dirty job as an actor in the movie and as a heavy presence that everybody will remember after the film ends.
