Posted by There has been a lot of buzz in June 2022 around a rumour that spread over Twitter: the production of the new movie Minions: The Rise of Gru, out on July 1st, announced that a song made by the rapper Yeat will be used for a trailer of the movie, and the fans went nuts trying to understand what’s happening. To add more hype, short time later Yeat himself posted on his Instagram page a snippet of the song called Luh Minion, afterwards shared as Rich Minion, and now deleted. Nevertheless, the song has been heard by many, and the lyrics are available. In this article we will tell you everything we know so far.
Rich Minion: did Yeat really made a song for Minions movie?

The song was shared after Cole Bennet, the music executive of the movie, confirmed that a song made by Yeat will be used in the trailer he’s been working on:
The Minion production didn’t release yet the trailer. Recently a trailer has been released on Youtube by Lyrical Lemonade channel, but the official Minion production hasn’t confirmed it or released it by his own.

In the version of Rich Minion shared by Yeat and then deleted (so not official yet), we can hear him saying precisely that yes, he made a song for the Minions and he made a lot of money with it. “I count money”, he keeps repeating.
