Lost Me: the meaning of the lyrics
In Lost Me, Giveon is saying explicitely that in this moment of his life he’s not looking for a serious relationship. He’s talking with the girl he is dating, and he’s being truly honest: she better not fall in love with him, and most important, she better not expect love from him. Because it’s not the right moment for him to commit in this direction.

The reason why Giveon is living this special moment of his life is related to the disappointments he had in his previous relationships. He got hurt many times. And right now he prefers to no longer get emotionally involved. It’s his way to protect his heart from more pain.
