“Hound Dog” is the way the rapper names the man she is addressing, accusing him of being a fraud, a half man. “Vegas”, instead, takes up the American motto that says “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”, meaning that all the sins that take place in that city are private and nobody will know about them. On the contrary, Doja Cat reminds the man that “This ain’t stayin’ in Vegas”, and that everything he has done to her will be revealed, because people need to know what kind of man he is. And the rapper becomes menacing in the second part of the lyrics, under the image of the bad rapper who can take revenge in a dangerous way.
