In the video descriptions on Youtube, both songs Beautiful Boy and Even in the Dark refer to Coop’s Advice, the foundation created by Cooper Noriega’s family after his death, aimed to share Cooper’s vision and leave a sign on his fans’ lives. These two songs are the memory Jxdn wanted to share with the world about Cooper’s death. Cooper was very active in supporting young people struggling with addiction and mental health issues, and few hours before his death he shared a TikTok video (now removed) about dying young.
Whereas Even in the Dark offers a darker perspective, in which Jxdn talks about following his shadow, Beautiful Boy has a brighter mood, where Jxdn focuses on how much he misses Cooper.
